“These people who are making a big deal out of gay marriage? I don’t give a fuck about who wants to get married to anybody else! Why not?! We’re making a big deal out of things we shouldn’t be making a deal out of. They go on and on with all this bullshit about ‘sanctity’ — don’t give me that sanctity crap! Just give everybody the chance to have the life they want.”—
Because they’re still in the “right”, as dictated by society.
It’s like people complaining about being white, male, hetero-normative, middle class, and able bodied.
How you liking those…
While I admit that it’s easier in some aspects, it’s not a cake-walk being skinny.
Being called Anorexic/Bulimic/Etc. can hurt just as much as being called ‘fat.’
As a person who has been both super skinny and relatively fat at different points in my life, I must say that being skinny was just as difficult (if not more so, because I was in high school at the time, whereas my overweight period was when I was out of school). People tend to assume that you’re starving yourself, just as when you’re overweight people tend to assume you’re eating too much. The whole problem is that other people assume things about you when they really don’t know you.
